History
The Robbins brothers formed Carolina Carribbean Corporation to develop Beech Mountain in the 1960s. What began as a private resort has blossomed into a bustling ski town today. Beech Mountain is home to 350 permanent residents, but boasts populations of over 10,000 during the winter months.
